Founded in 2005 by Jen Kingwell, amitié Textiles began as a passion project fueled by her love for bright, contemporary, and uniquely quirky fabrics. Over the years, amitié Textiles has grown into one of Australia's premier fabric and quilting destinations. As Jen’s vision expanded, her business evolved beyond retail to include designing her own patterns and becoming a fabric designer for Moda. Through her wholesale company, Jen Kingwell Designs, she now shares her unique creations with other quilt shops worldwide.

With this growth, Jen has decided to bring everything together in one space, combining both Amitié Textiles and Jen Kingwell Designs under one roof (or website in this case). You can now find all of Jen’s beautifully curated retail selections, along with her patterns and designs, at jenkingwell.com.

in Jen's retail store, Jen personally sources fabrics from across the globe, with a special focus on high-quality, distinctive pieces, including many rare finds from Japan.
