This fabulous book features a beautiful sampler quilt that is inspired by cherished carefree days by the seaside and celebrates all things nautical. Featuring twenty-five beautiful blocks and two quilt settings (65" x 72" or 60" x 60") this quilt is a fantastic skill builder with appliqué, foundation piecing and traditional piecing techniques including, half-square triangles, square-in-square, flying geese and drunkards path blocks.
The photographs of the finished quilt in this book show Moda fabrics from my ‘Ebb and Flow’ collection which was released in October 2019 and is now in short supply. The digital images show the blocks made in my current ‘To the Sea’ Moda fabrics.
However, the quilt is quite scrappy and made in just four tones so you can easily choose your own fabrics - use the little colour swatches in the requirements to help you select other fabrics.
